About the Role

The energy transition is a complex and challenging process, and we need talented professionals like you to help us achieve our goals. As a Scientific Software Python Developer, you will be part of our Grid Operations and Analytics (GOAT) team, working on developing products for calculations in the distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve our products, focusing on functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Add features to our existing products using your analytical skills and Python knowledge.
  • Oversee and solve complex analytical problems.
  • Think critically and be open to new ideas and learning opportunities.
What We Offer
  • A gross monthly salary of EUR 4,274 to EUR 6,106 (scale 9 or 10).
  • An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary.
  • 25 days' holiday (statutory + non-statutory).
  • An end-of-year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December.
  • The possibility to work from home or the office in Arnhem.
  • A Sustainable Employability Budget of €500 per year.
Requirements
  • Extensive programming experience in Python.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD software pipelines (tekton/github actions), releases, and deployments.
  • Experience in writing and maintaining automatic tests.
  • Knowledge and experience with developing APIs and REST (such as FastAPI) optionally with pub/sub (such as Celery).
  • Knowledge and experience with developing event streaming (such as Kafka) optionally as part of the sub part of an API.
