Job Title: Manager Automation & Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Automation & Engineering to join our team at Independent Recruiters. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team leads and internal partners to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Manage and control the annual Capex budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Define team objectives and translate them into actionable activities and responsibilities.
  • Execute activities within the E&A team and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Improve departmental processes and efficiency using project management tools and goal setting.
  • Ensure team members receive necessary training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering: control, electrical or automation (or equivalent education).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering/automation environment with extensive people management experience.
  • Proven organizational, managerial capacities and demonstrated flexibility to respond to changes in the external and internal environments.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints.
  • Good command of English in word and writing.
  • Experience with Lean methodology.

  • A salary range between €80,000 - €120,000 gross per year (based on education and working experience).
