Salary: €2700 - €3400 gross per month
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team at Corecruitment. As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our hotel staff and guests, as well as protecting the assets of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of security staff
- Ensure compliance with national laws and regulations, management decisions, and group operating policies, processes, and procedures
- Complete tasks related to guests', employees', and visitors' safety and security within the hotel, including surveillance duties and public area vigilance
- Handle security and safety breaches, conduct investigations, and ensure an enjoyable guest experience
- Financial controls, promoting security, preventing fraud, and managing costs
- Maintain good communication and work relationships in all areas of the hotel and coordinate with government and law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when personalizing external and internal guests' needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business
- Share best practice with regards to efficiency and profitability
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Certifications: Beveiliger 2 diploma and BHV/EHBO diploma
- VOG (proof of good behavior)
- An organised and systematic approach to problem-solving
- Security industry experience in a managerial capacity
- Previous experience working in hotels
- Ability to listen and respond to demanding guest needs
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Accountability and resilience
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Good grooming standards
- Availability to work weekends and flexibility to be present at key busy times
- Proficiency in Dutch is a must
