Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customs Specialist to join our team at Clarksons PLC. As a Customs Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing import and export declarations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and facilitating international transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily customs-related tasks in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Apply and advise on the correct procedures for import and export declarations and transit documents, including storage under customs supervision.
- Communicate with clients and other departments within the company about daily customs-related operations.
- Provide support regarding the re-certification of AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) internally and externally.
Requirements
- Basic Declarant degree or higher.
- Operational experience in customs and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Dutch and English.
- Organizational skills and the ability to carry out ad-hoc tasks.
