Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Turbomachinery Engineer to join our R&D team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in the development of our next-generation turbomachinery solutions. Your expertise will help us drive the world's energy transition and reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop gas turbine components and assemblies using mechanical design principles
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) simulations and basic calculations to support the design process
- Participate in technical investigations and lead projects as needed
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing processes to set up and qualify new vendors
- Manage development projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support to Supply Chain, Operations, and Field Service teams
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (MEng, MSc, or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of mechanical design for gas turbine components
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
- Experience with FEA and high-temperature materials is an advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an advantage
- Experience in lifetime assessments of gas turbine components is an advantage
- Key competencies include written and verbal communication, results-driven approach, initiative, knowledge, and problem-solving skills
