Operational Technology Specialist

We are seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company in Elst. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of operational technology systems within our factory.
Key Responsibilities
\t- Ensure smooth interaction of various control systems to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency
\t - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize operational technology systems, including SCADA, PLCs and other automation solutions
\t - Responsible for change management around software changes
\t - Conduct regular maintenance of OT systems and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing solutions to minimize production interruptions
\t - Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect OT assets and data integrity
\t - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment through the application of new technologies and methodologies
\t - Provide training and support to operational staff on the proper use and maintenance of technology systems, while conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
\t - Work closely with Production, Logistics, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, Quality and other stakeholders to understand operational needs and challenges
\t- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or a related field
\t - Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in operational technology, automation, or control systems in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
\t - Knowledge of systems such as PLC, HMI and SCADA
\t - Knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
\t - Familiarity with ISA95 and ITIL processes
\t - Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in a manufacturing setting
\t - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
\t - Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
