Job Title: Software Developer

About the Role:

Haystack People is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients and partners. This will involve working closely with product managers, customer-facing teams, other developers, and Quality Assurance to ensure that the solutions you create are not only functional but also reliable, efficient, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom software solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients and partners
• Work closely with product managers, customer-facing teams, other developers, and Quality Assurance to ensure that the solutions you create are not only functional but also reliable, efficient, and user-friendly
• Analyze technical issues, implement configuration changes, perform rigorous testing, and ensure that any support requests are resolved quickly and effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL
• 2+ years of experience with backend JavaScript
• Experience with TypeScript
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems systematically
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Ubuntu
• Experience with cloud computing services such as GCP (preferred), Azure, or AWS
• Ability to work independently and translate requirements into effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
