We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Advisory Group Energy & Process at Royal HaskoningDHV Zwolle. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of knowledge on off-grid hydrogen production, a service that will be used within our organization. This knowledge will help the hydrogen sector in strategic and decision-making processes for off-grid hydrogen production projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with industry experts to gain a deeper understanding of the technical, economical, and environmental aspects of hydrogen production sites.
  • Develop a calculation model for the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) by gathering and structuring information from various sources.
  • Conduct a literature review of options for balancing and maintaining large-scale off-grid hydrogen production, focusing on different technological solutions and their economic impact on the LCOH.

Royal HaskoningDHV is a worldwide independent engineering, project management, and consultancy firm that integrates 140 years of engineering expertise with digital technologies and software solutions. Our 6,000 colleagues work from offices in more than 25 countries across the world.

What You Will Learn:
  • You will gain knowledge on off-grid hydrogen production and its role in the energy transition.
  • You will develop skills in calculation modeling and data analysis.
  • You will learn about the techno-economic feasibility of different hydrogen production projects.
Requirements:
  • You are a MSc student in Electrical Engineering.
  • You are available full-time for the duration of the internship (3 months).
  • You have an interest in the role of hydrogen in the energy transition.
  • You have good command of English (verbal and in writing).
