Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Operator to join our team at Huntsman Rotterdam. As a Chemical Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our chemical plant, ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain chemical plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Monitor and control process variables, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot process problems, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a chemical plant or related industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
