About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to lead our hydraulic systems team at TMC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing existing mechanical equipment with hydraulic drive and control systems, as well as developing new hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an overview of ongoing projects and their priorities
  • Collaborate with work package lead engineers and stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and distribution of tasks
  • Perform detailed analyses, simulations, and testing to validate designs
  • Organize and lead design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with at least 6 years of experience in the offshore industry
  • Proven knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic system engineering, as well as awareness of other engineering disciplines
  • Experience with different project phases, from concept to commissioning
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software (e.g., Autocad or Inventor)
  • Ability to work offshore occasionally, depending on the project scope
