We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design & Proposal Engineer to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and proposing civil projects that meet the technical specifications and needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop civil designs that meet technical requirements and client needs;
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk analyses;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives;
- Prepare detailed proposals and technical documentation;
- Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with civil engineering regulations and guidelines;
- Support project managers in project execution and implementation;
- Travel to potential construction sites to conduct technical research;
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction, or a related field;
- Experience with design software and technical calculations;
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts;
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Team player with ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
- Attention to detail and quality-oriented approach;
