Senior Backend Software Engineer

At Instapro Group, we're on a mission to crack the code in one of the last big industries to become digital-first. We're leaders in our markets, yet small enough for everyone to make a real difference. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you'll be part of our Platform Foundation Team, responsible for developing the platform itself, authentication, and authorization for users and services.

Some of the exciting projects you'll work on include:

  • Developing an event bus for cross-service communication
  • Improving and scaling our Message Queue system
  • Enhancing the security of our platform

You'll collaborate with our community of backend engineers to ensure high-quality software, introduce new technologies, improve and set quality standards, exchange experience, and take on more extensive cross-team backend initiatives. Our core backend stack consists of PHP 8.3, Symfony 6.4, MySQL 8, RabbitMQ, Redis, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, all running on AWS.

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you'll drive ideas, solutions, and improvements during product and technical discussions. You'll also contribute to, maintain, and adhere to our development quality standards and best practices with other backend developers.
