As a key member of our science department, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Chemistry and Physics to students aged 11-18, following the European Baccalaureate curriculum.

Job Description

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry and Physics to students in German, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that nurtures every student's talent and potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support our thriving science programme and contribute to the development of a supportive and innovative learning community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry, combined with full teaching qualification for Secondary Education recognized by Dutch authorities.
  • Experience teaching modern physics in higher classes covering topics like quantum mechanics and astrophysics.
  • Excellent command of German (C1 level or above) and good English communication skills within the school.
  • Ability to adapt to our IB (Inquiry-Based) teaching approach and willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
