As the Head of Innovation, you will lead a dynamic team of Development Engineers dedicated to advancing our R&D initiatives. You will be responsible for crafting and overseeing the development roadmap in collaboration with business unit leaders and R&D colleagues.

Your team, composed of skilled engineers, will focus on creating products that deliver strategic advantages to our organization. This multidisciplinary team will engage in various projects, including machine concepts and advancements in both hardware and software. The software will play a crucial role in enhancing customer projects through intelligent applications, utilizing technologies such as robotics, vision systems, and AI models.

In this role, you will adopt an agile approach (scrum), facilitating iterative development through sprint planning and refinements. You will also promote collaboration among team members through daily stand-ups and retrospectives. As the Head of Innovation, you will act as the Product Owner, guiding the team towards successful outcomes.

What We Expect From You:

• A strong enthusiasm paired with a deep passion for software development;
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in (technical) computer science;
• Over 3 years of relevant professional experience;
• Experience working within a scrum team;
• Familiarity with programming principles (OOP, FP, etc.);
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
