Global Supply Chain Channel Development Manager

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Channel Development Team focuses on driving consumer insights into supply chain operations and optimizing end-to-end Supply Chain processes. Our mission is to enhance consumer, store, and customer experiences across all markets and channels by improving delivery reliability, convenience, and speed while supporting revenue and profitability growth. This includes a significant impact on consumers through Retail, E-Com, Wholesale, Omni, and Partner Programs.

The Senior Manager Global Supply Chain Channel Development is responsible for coordinating and driving the global channel development roadmap, focusing on alignment with Sales and markets on day-to-day operations.

This role ensures alignment of the global SC channel development in relevant forums and partners with markets on the implementation of new solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the definition and prioritization of Supply Chain Channel Development initiatives and connect them to the overall Channel Development roadmap for E-Com.
  2. Drive partnerships with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Markets, Sales, and IT to enable alignment on day-to-day operations and facilitate consistency between expectations and capabilities through proactive communication.
  3. Support the Director SCM Channel Development – E-Com in ensuring initiatives are delivered as per timelines.
  4. Support SCI in defining Channel Supply Chain specific metrics around Availability, Service, Inventory, and Costs, specifically for E-Com Channel.
  5. Drive system and process enhancements that help improve Channel Supply Chain related KPIs.
  6. Prepare budget targets per market for E-Com Supply Chain Performance for the relevant KPIs with a clear rationale and get them approved.
  7. Drive transparency and manage dependencies across key initiatives.
  8. Contribute significantly to continuous improvement of Supply Chain Channel capabilities.
  9. Monitor performance of Supply Chain Channel initiatives against targets - identify deviations and initiate necessary changes.
  10. Oversee and resolve any escalations to ensure Supply Chain Channel targets and KPIs are achieved.
  11. Act as a trusted contributor and bridge communication between the Supply Chain market teams and the global Channel Development teams to drive implementation of solutions efficiently.
  12. Maintain a toolkit and best practices for best-in-class E-Com Supply Chain Performance.

  4. Competency to coach, guide, and manage cross-functional project teams.

  6. Business- and solution-oriented mindset.
  7. Strong experience in managing a wide range of complex assignments and/or projects on a global level, focusing on Supply Chain Management, Retail, and E-Com.
  8. Broad and deep knowledge about Omnichannel, Wholesale, E-Com, and Retail fulfillment.
  9. Self-initiated and proactive mindset.

Requisite Education and Qualifications:

  1. Business or comparable university degree, MBA is a plus.
  2. Over 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in Omnichannel, Fulfillment, and E-Com/Retail related functions with proven professional experience in the Direct-to-Consumer ecosystem environment, proven cross-functional project management record, 6-Sigma or PMI certification is a plus, experience in agile methodology is a plus.
  3. Prior work in business functions (i.e. Sales, Retail, E-Com) is a plus.
