Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Protix B.V. as a Purchaser. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and efficiency of our production processes.

• Manage procurement processes for feedstock and other essential materials, ensuring high-quality sourcing and favorable terms with suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor market trends to identify new suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs, contributing to cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar procurement role, with a strong background in negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Affinity with the by-product market and food waste is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently, with a strong interest in sustainable and innovative solutions within the food industry.
