As a Senior Clinical Research Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within the Clinical Research Department, contributing to the Global team at Danone. Your expertise in evidence generation will be essential in validating the value proposition for Danone's Specialized Nutrition product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and methodological expertise throughout various phases of research and innovation projects.
- Translate business requirements into effective study designs, including protocol writing and statistical analysis plans.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Scientists, Clinical Study Managers, Data Managers, and Statisticians.
- Ensure the collection of accurate data by liaising with various stakeholders.
- Assess the feasibility of study protocols and participate in the selection of investigators.
- Interpret study results and compile comprehensive clinical study reports.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of clinical studies.
- Establish and nurture networks with Key Opinion Leaders and other experts in the field.
- Oversee third-party activities when necessary.
Qualifications:
You should possess a university degree or PhD in life sciences or a related scientific discipline, along with extensive experience in international clinical research, whether in an academic environment or the (bio-)pharmaceutical sector. A strong foundation in clinical study methodology and scientific literature is essential.
Additional Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, relevant legislation, and clinical study methodologies.
- Experience in biotics or fast-moving consumer goods is advantageous, with a willingness to learn more about this field.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks with Key Opinion Leaders and investigators.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, for the creation of protocols, study documents, and presentations.
- Adaptability to changing business needs and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
