The Role

We are seeking a skilled Tender Engineer Asset and Maintenance Management to join our Proposals Department. As a member of our multidisciplinary tender team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support plans for our deal-winning tender packages. Your domain expertise in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) will be crucial in creating a commercially viable and attractive proposition.

Key Accountabilities

As the Tender Engineer Asset and Maintenance Management, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering complete Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support tender packages, comprising technical documents, ILS specifications, and contract specifications.
  • Contributing to requirements analysis to ensure all required specifications are drafted and understood by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting quotation (RFQ) processes and evaluations within the tender team and towards (sub-)suppliers for preliminary (sub-)supplier selection, budget allocation, and cost-estimation.
  • Participating in discussions with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on the technical and commercial aspects of proposed Asset and Maintenance Support (and/or ILS) solutions.
  • Supporting the evaluation of costs provided by external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with internal engineering and service departments to optimize project outcomes.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • At least one year of experience in writing deal-winning tender packages, preferably for complex manufacturing, maintenance, or (naval) shipbuilding tenders.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to deliver compelling text, figures, and calculations encompassing very specific technical details and specifications.
  • A commercial mindset to deliver viable yet attractive financial forecasts and propositions.
  • Bachelor (or Master) degree, required to handle complex data from variant sources in the field of Asset and Maintenance Management, Technical and Logistics Services, or Asset Life Cycle Support.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, preferably also Dutch command (or willingness to learn).
  • Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
  • Candidates with NL/EU work visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
