Job Summary

The Hoxton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued, and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Coach and mentor our front desk team to provide exceptional customer service and to resolve any guest complaints or issues.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage our front desk team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and improve team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to help team members develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Operations
    • Ensure that all hotel operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
    • Monitor and control hotel expenses, ensuring that they are within budget.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the hotel is compliant with all relevant regulations.
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits to identify and mitigate any risks.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
    • Ensure that all communication with guests is clear, concise, and professional.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and manage a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
