Requirements Engineer for PLM/ALM Systems

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer to join our Product Definition Team at ASML. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for clarifying business needs, supporting configuration and build activities, and assisting in the implementation of solutions within the organization.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and outsourcing partners to ensure that user needs are aligned with the company's strategic direction. Your primary focus will be on variant management, systems engineering, and hardware/software design-related processes.
You will assess, design, and deploy software change proposals, validating functionality as built by outsourced partners. Additionally, you will work in an Agile team, translating requirements into backlog items and taking care of intake until go live and hand-over to support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Challenging functional requirements to prevent custom-built solutions where possible;

- Consulting business stakeholders regarding the end-to-end PLM/ALM process;
- Using low-code/no-code tools to enrich the functionality of our standard solutions.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in PLM/ALM tooling, preferably Polarion/Teamcenter Requirements Engineering. At least 5-7 years of experience in a complex, high-tech development environment is required. You should have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and have knowledge of Dutch as a plus.
A demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure environments, coupled with a proactive personality who can deal with resistance, is essential. Strong client orientation and a drive for excellence are also critical traits for this position.
