About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to join our team at PAL-V. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers working on hardware, software, and mechanical systems within the electrical system.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and engineering, with experience in result-driven technical environments and agile working methods. You will be responsible for delivering engineering results with the team for the production model of the PAL-V according to planning, and aligning the disciplines to deliver results according to planning.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example and delivering engineering results with the team
  • Aligning the disciplines to deliver results according to planning
  • Risk Management according to the PAL-V risk management method
  • Maintaining and updating the engineering planning within the PAL-V Progress tracker tool
  • Helping engineers convert planning into daily tasks within the PAL-V Agile sprint working method
  • Managing and allocating team resources to conform to planning
  • Flagging planning issues and providing creative possible solutions
  • Reporting team progress to Project Manager and other Team Leads
  • Communicating company goals within the team
  • Couching team members to improve their skill sets and put them in their strength
  • Representing and advocating for team needs

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for chairing sprint planning, review & retro, and technical progress meetings, as well as providing weekly updates of the PAL-V Progress tracker. You will also be responsible for daily interactions with technical discipline leads and team members, coaching, listening, and actively working on building professional relationships with team members.
