About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Transformation Specialist to join our team at ABN AMRO. As a DevOps Transformation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding our Data Engineering teams to adopt and excel in Agile and DevOps practices.

Your primary responsibility will be to promote and coach teams and leadership on Agile and DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies. You will evaluate current DevOps processes and practices, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and hands-on labs to enhance team skills.

You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and automation, encourage a collaborative environment between DevOps teams, and stay current with industry trends and advancements in Agile and DevOps practices and tools.

As a DevOps Transformation Specialist, you will be a thought leader in continuous DevOps transition of the grids, using your expertise to steer the transformation and support management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and coach teams and leadership on Agile and DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Evaluate current DevOps processes and practices and identify areas for improvement
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and hands-on labs to enhance team skills
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and automation
  • Encourage a collaborative environment between DevOps teams
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Agile and DevOps practices and tools

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Agile and DevOps role with a strong coaching or mentoring component
  • Knowledge of Lean, Agile, and DevOps methodologies and practices
  • Knowledge of software development practices, including CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean (Six Sigma)
  • Excellent cooperation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport, inspire, and motivate teams
  • Ability to achieve results, working with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
