The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the supply replenishment process, issuing purchasing orders, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring a smooth supply chain operation.

Critical Results:

  • Purchase Order process efficiency and accuracy
  • Inventory level targets
  • Service to customers
  • Service from Principals (Suppliers) to Barentz
  • Purchase proposal accuracy
  • Purchase contract management process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Collaborate with the sales and supply chain team to ensure inventory levels align with demand forecasts
  • Create net demand volumes from sales forecasts considering current stock levels and open sale- & purchase orders
  • Issue Purchase Orders efficiently and track order status for on-time delivery
  • Receive, process, and maintain accurate purchase orders in Barentz systems
  • Assess and improve the purchase order process to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to Logistics, Quality, or Delivery
  • Negotiate and implement Logistic Terms with Principals to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Identify potential supply risks and develop contingency plans
  • Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant field or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of logistics coordination, inventory management, and supply chain planning

Skills/Profile:

  • Practical knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education and work experience
  • Works independently with general supervision
  • Influences others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with experience using Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
