Role Objective

As the Group Team Leader, you will oversee a team within the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) group, which operates under the Level Sensor and Light Source department. You will work closely with your Group Lead to manage Supplier Quality Engineers, ensuring timely Proto deliveries and preparing suppliers to meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, collaborating with project leads, product owners, architects, sourcing leads, and suppliers to enhance the quality of parts delivered.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for your team and monitor individual development and achievements through regular feedback sessions.
  • Empower team members to grow by actively listening and providing support.
  • Develop a vision to maximize team potential.
  • Effectively manage complex stakeholder relationships and escalation processes.
  • Coordinate with project leads and product owners to ensure the right number of qualified personnel are available.
  • Work with sourcing and logistics management to identify gaps and foster cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Engage with other SQE Group Leaders and Team Leaders to establish a consistent SQE operational framework.
  • Define and execute the competence and resource development roadmap for your team.
  • Exhibit strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications and Experience

Master's degree in a technical field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the development, integration, and testing of complex multidisciplinary products, ideally with suppliers responsible for delivering these components.

Experience in managing comprehensive business processes in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Strong understanding of addressing supplier-related technical and organizational challenges.
