Electrical Engineer for Luxury Superyachts

Key Responsibilities:

You will play a crucial role in the successful realisation of projects, performing tests, commissioning systems, and resolving malfunctions. Your expertise will be challenged by the diversity of complex installations and products on board a luxury superyacht, and you will work independently with various parties, including the shipyard.

Key Tasks:

  • Check the technical soundness of installations and systems, resolving any design or installation issues;
  • Functional testing of plant and equipment according to the commissioning protocol;
  • Implement changes to installations or control systems as required;
  • Collect and document test data in reports according to the protocol;
  • Perform IO testing and final inspections.

Requirements:

  • Have an HBO degree or MBO degree with several years of relevant work experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, Embedded software engineering;
  • Experience in reading drawings, datasheets, and manuals;
  • You are able to work (professionally) with systems such as LAN, WLAN, audio and video, lighting control, security, CCTV, telephone, access control, and satellite communication equipment.
