Main Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance activities daily. This includes coordinating and performing routine, preventive and emergency interior/exterior maintenance and repair to achieve optimum efficiency and economy of hotel operations.

Key Tasks

  • Complete tasks related to the overall maintenance of the building, including regular spot checks of equipment, controlling stocks, solving machinery errors, and handling requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Carry out repairs on plant equipment, sanitary facilities, lighting, electricity/data facilities, or other requested areas.
  • Follow guidance and instructions given by the leadership team and support the company's standard operating procedures, including emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance faults that may jeopardize guest or colleague satisfaction, health, and wellbeing.
  • Attend and complete all mandatory Health & Safety training.
  • Handle personal information confidentially and demonstrate ethical and social responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external guests, including hotel colleagues, via written correspondence, phone, and face-to-face interactions.

  • Ensure that all activities are in compliance with national laws and regulations, management decisions, and PPHE Hotel Group's operating policies, processes, and procedures.
