About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Specialist to join our team, who will drive end-to-end ownership of network capabilities ensuring robust security prevention, detection, and response to cyber threats.

Our mission is to maintain SWIFT's cyber infrastructure in line with industry standards by selecting new tools, conducting Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), deployment, configuration, maintenance, support, and license management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Be the primary point of contact for network security matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  2. Develop and implement new cybersecurity initiatives to enhance prevention, detection, and investigation capabilities.
  3. Investigate less complex security cases, propose response procedures, and collaborate with senior security specialists to resolve and close security incidents.
  4. Contribute to the security roadmap, guiding future enhancements of our defense.
  5. Evaluate and integrate new security solutions into the existing infrastructure.
  6. Support operational teams maintaining security infrastructure, including intrusion detection, remote access security, email and web security, anti-malware, etc.
  7. Support security investigations and identify opportunities for automation.
  8. Occasionally participate in audits and risk assessments.
  9. Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  10. Promote a strong security culture within SWIFT.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, along with VPN technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Big F5, etc.
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code for automating network deployment and operations (Preferred Languages: Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Solid comprehension of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, covering command line utilities and file system management.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services.
  • Working knowledge of network automation frameworks like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • 4-6 years hands-on domain expertise in WAF, OWASP Top10, Webproxies, Email Security, nIDS, CASB, VPN, ZTNA.

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
