We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Inntel Hotels Utrecht Centre.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our hotel rooms and general areas are clean and tidy for our guests. Your working day will start with a morning meeting where you will receive your room list for the day. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing the rooms, including the bathroom, changing beds, vacuuming, and replenishing items.

One of the great things about this role is that your schedule can be adjusted to suit your availability. Our hotel is located in the heart of Utrecht Centre, making it easily accessible by public transportation. You will work in a team environment, helping each other out when needed.

This is what you will be doing:

  • Greet all our hotel guests as our visiting card;
  • Cleaning and preparing hotel rooms for our guests;
  • Checking and cleaning of general areas, such as corridors and the lobby;
  • Replacing bed linen, towels, and other necessities for our guests.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • You like cleaning and are tidy;
  • You enjoy preparing hotel rooms for the next guests;
  • Making beds, vacuuming, and other physical activities are no problem for you;
  • If you already have experience in cleaning, that's a bonus, but we would also love to teach you.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly wage of €13.12 (including 8% holiday pay) and flexible contract arrangements. You will have the opportunity to specify your preferred working days and hours. Additionally, you will receive:

  • 25 paid vacation days (based on a full-time contract);
  • Your salary will be paid monthly on a fixed date;
  • Travel allowance (over 10 km commuting distance);
  • From €35, you can stay in one of our hotels, with a 20% discount on F&B;
  • A company uniform;
  • An annual Christmas gift and a big party together with colleagues from all our hotels;
  • Automatic pension accrual and discount on supplementary insurances.
