Your Role

As a Senior Azure Security Specialist at ABN AMRO Bank, you will play a crucial role in the application journey of Microsoft Azure cloud adoption. Your contribution will enhance development teams' understanding of security aspects, leading to the safety of the bank by securing each step as much as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide business and IT advice on cloud adoption and security best practices.
  • Contribute to the safety of the bank by securing each step as much as possible.
  • Work together with development teams to secure information security at the start of our banking products.
  • Evaluate and improve cloud security knowledge and experience with a special focus on Azure and SaaS.
  • Assess and ensure compliance with security processes, technologies, and architectures.

Working Environment

ABN AMRO's IT organization is your biggest client, and the cooperation with our international business is one of your key drivers. You will also receive professional training budget and visit events which will sometimes take place abroad.

Your Profile

A security specialist with the overview of a generalist and therefore an effective consultant & engineer. You are well acquainted with network and application security, as well as both technical and organizational areas.

Requirements

  • 8 years of working experience in IT.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Cloud security knowledge and experience with a special focus on Azure and SaaS.
  • Experience in providing business and IT advice on cloud adoption and security best practices.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Science or relevant studies.

We Offer

  • Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • 5 weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional 4 weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
