As a highly experienced system infrastructure manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuity and optimization of our customers' IT environments.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing servers, desktop publication, and application virtualization. Knowledge of Enterprise Windows Server environments, Citrix, RES Workspace Manager, App-V, Netscaler, SCCM, Security Management, Office 365, and Azure is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for guaranteeing infrastructural continuity, identifying problems and bottlenecks, and advising customers on innovation and structural solutions. Additionally, you will manage customer expectations through correct and timely communication and ensure up-to-date customer management documentation.

An Average Work Day

A typical day for this role may involve investigating high-priority incidents, such as email delivery issues, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve them efficiently. You will also work on scheduled changes, such as phasing out servers, and ensure that all updates are correctly applied to customer environments.

Collaboration is key in this role, and you will regularly attend planning meetings with your Operations Coordinator to discuss open changes and incidents. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively manage customer expectations and provide timely updates on progress.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least an MBO-4 ICT diploma;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
  • Several years of experience in IT, preferably in server management;
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles;

This role offers a competitive salary range of EUR 2,600 - EUR 4,100 (based on 40 hours) and a comprehensive benefits package, including a customized training plan, car, mobility budget, or travel allowance, depending on your scale. You will also enjoy 28 vacation days, with the possibility to buy additional days, based on 40 hours.
