Job Title: Junior Trader

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Trader to join our team in Groningen. As a Junior Trader, you will be responsible for the purchase and sale of marine fuels, lubricants, and chemicals for ships operating worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers and customers
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and customers
  • Process and manage orders from start to finish, including administrative tasks and logistics coordination
  • Communicate effectively with international stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and adjust strategies accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business or a related field
  • Previous commercial experience in B2B sales or a related field
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus
