About the Role

As a lead engineer at ASML, you will play a key part in the development of our flow and thermal systems for lithography machines. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding a team of designers to create innovative solutions that meet the high standards of our industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and improve specifications within flow and thermal systems
  • Collaborate with architects and analysts to create new designs
  • Design the fluid infrastructure for ASML lithography machines
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and align on modifications
  • Manage and motivate a team of designers to deliver high-quality designs on time
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Perform calculations to predict flow, pressure, gas purity, and other system functionality
  • Document designs with CAD models, drawings, and detailed design information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in mechanical and industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of lead engineer experience
  • Solid design experience in a complex technical environment
  • Experience steering internal and external design teams on quality, technical skills, and timing
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Siemens NX
  • Working experience in the Netherlands (preferable)
