Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven Electrical Engineer to join our Asset Engineering team at Yacht. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing assets, creating asset life plans, and reviewing asset performance. You will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of our chemical and compounding plants.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer in our Asset Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing electrical systems for our chemical and compounding plants
- Creating and maintaining asset life plans to ensure optimal performance
- Reviewing and analyzing asset performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with the Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of our plants
- Developing and implementing reliability and maintenance strategies to minimize downtime
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent through combination of education and working experience
- Minimum 5 years of reliability, maintenance, and/or engineering experience with LV switchgear in oil & gas, petrochemical, and/or energy production industry
- Experience in maintenance and engineering processes
- Thorough knowledge of general principles and theories related to engineering and ability to contribute significantly to the solution of complex engineering problems
- Thorough knowledge in Dutch codes & standards regarding low voltage installations and electrical safety
- Risk-based analytical mindset and experience in participating in multi-disciplinary teams
- Good analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
