Food Production Operator

We are seeking an experienced Food Production Operator to join our team at Van Oers in Boxtel. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and controlling the line equipment to ensure smooth production processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, with experience in operating machinery and maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all products meet our quality requirements and are packaged correctly.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Controlling the supply of raw materials and ensuring that they meet our quality standards
  • Solving operational malfunctions and implementing corrective actions
  • Performing test productions and quality checks
  • Processing data in our system and maintaining accurate records
  • Instructing and supporting production employees
  • Working according to our company rules to produce high-quality products
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace

As a Food Production Operator, you will work 2 or 3 shifts per week, depending on business needs. In consultation with your supervisor, you may also be required to work additional shifts or overtime as needed.

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary between €26,000 and €32,500 per year, excluding shift allowance
  • A shift allowance of 28% over all hours worked, resulting in a minimum salary of €33,400 per year
  • Paid pauses
  • 8.33% vacation pay
  • A 3% year-end bonus
  • 25 vacation days
  • A travel allowance and a good pension plan

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A good command of the Dutch or English language
  • Experience in the food industry is an advantage
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A commitment to quality and safety
  • Availability to work 5 shifts per week
