Our team combines creativity, brand understanding, and consumer insights with a strong foundation in R&D and innovation to deliver unique offerings that differentiate our customers' products in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop innovative flavor solutions for the Re-Imagine Protein program
- Manage the stage gate process to ensure optimal delivery of new ingredients and technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including science partners, R&D, commercial flavorists, regulatory, operations, and external partners
- Train and promote new technologies to global teams
- Provide cross-functional leadership within global project teams
- Understand regional taste differences and preferences to guide new ingredient and technology delivery
- Interact with key customers regionally and globally to understand requirements and build relationships
- Utilize and promote IFF technology to deliver unique solutions to the marketplace
- Participate in development programs for trainee and associate flavorists
- Cross-category experience in savory, dairy, and/or beverages, preferably in a commercial food company
- Experience with flavor creation in multiple countries and/or regions
- At least 10 years of experience in the flavor industry creative function
- Four-year degree in biological, food technology, or chemical science
- Excellent tasting skills and ability to create and adjust flavor formulations
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and present new capabilities
- Proven presentation and project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of raw materials, flavor ingredients, and regulatory requirements
