About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Park Plaza Vondelpark. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs to ensure the hotel's facilities are in good working order.
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance activities, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues by identifying and addressing potential hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance equipment and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
