Job Description

At ANDRITZ, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing regional supply chains to support our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies for managed categories, analyzing current suppliers and market opportunities to drive business objectives.
  • Source equipment and services, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with key suppliers to enhance added value.
  • Manage sustainability and compliance of suppliers, monitoring adherence to contractual agreements and driving total cost of ownership reduction.
  • Represent the Supply Chain area in project execution teams and execute all supply chain management-related project activities.
  • Provide support and coordination to other areas of the organization regarding managed suppliers and categories.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management or strategic sourcing positions in an international industrial environment.
  • Industrial sector experience in Automotive, energy, wind, rail, or marine machinery is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving supply chain optimization and cost reduction.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
