About the Opportunity
Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled Medical Advisor to join our Dutch Medical Affairs team. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical leadership and product support in the local subsidiary, working closely with medical colleagues and within defined global product strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver medical strategies and plans to support product growth and market access.
- Provide medical and scientific input to access and reimbursement processes, as well as product defense.
- Represent the company at key medical meetings and conferences, ensuring internal knowledge is up-to-date.
- Contribute to investigator identification and stay abreast of relevant clinical trial activities.
- Work closely with commercial colleagues to provide expert medical and scientific input to support key products and programs.
- Identify opportunities to develop study proposals and feed them into Teva Pharmaceuticals for potential realization.
- Develop and cultivate professional contacts with opinion leaders, nurses, and patient organizations in the context of ongoing and planned projects.
- Support local compliance activities, including internal and external training and production of necessary training materials.
- Conduct horizon scanning of relevant publications and produce technical bulletins, briefing documents, and training programs as needed.
- Support the Medical Information Service to ensure provision of accurate information to external and internal customers.
Requirements
- You are a MD or PhD within life sciences, preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- You have a strong network in psychiatry, although experience in other therapy areas is also considered.
- You are a dynamic self-starter with a high level of personal drive, able to build strong and reliable professional relationships.
- You are a team player who inspires cross-functional collaboration and has excellent communication skills.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
