Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team at ABN AMRO. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating risk assessments across the organization and enhancing risk control measures.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate risk assessments and provide expert opinions to management on non-financial risk management issues.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports, including trend analyses and aligned risk opinions on key risk and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and trends in non-financial risk types to proactively advise the company's security posture.
- Post HBO/Post Master in risk management or related field.
- Professional risk management certifications such as PRM, CRMP, CRISC, CIA, or CRMA.
- Knowledge of (Enterprise) risk management frameworks and relevant regulations.
- At least 5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to assess control effectiveness, analyze complex issues, develop actionable plans, and drive results.
- Experience in enhancing risk awareness and providing training in the risk management domain.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Driven self-starter focused on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Good understanding of both English and Dutch, spoken and written.
- Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- Benefit Budget of 11% of salary, allowing for additional employment benefits.
- Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks.
- Personal development Budget of €1,000 per year, accumulable up to €3,000.
- Possibility to work from home, depending on position.
- Annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
