Amsterdam UMC is een multidisciplinair centrum voor de nieuwste zorg op maat voor kinderen met zeldzame erfelijke aandoeningen. Wij zoeken een postdoctoraal onderzoeker om nieuwe DNA-methylatie signaturen in kinderen te definiëren voor met name genetische ontwikkelingsstoornissen, immunologische ziektebeelden, oogziekten en metabole ziekten.
Wat ga je doen?- Je ontwerpt en implementeert complexe AI-gebaseerde methodologie om predicatieve epigenetische signaturen te detecteren.
- Je werkt samen met multidisciplinaire- en afdelingsoverstijgende teams om de nieuw verworven wetenschappelijke inzichten in onderwijs en andere manieren van kennisdeling te vertalen.
- Je draagt bij aan het uitvoeren van moleculaire diagnostiek en het therapieloket van het Emma Center for Personalized Medicine.
- Een afgeronde PhD op het gebied van epidemiologie en/of moleculaire biologie en bioinformatica.
- Je bent in staat om zelfstandig analyse-software (pipelines) te ontwikkelen en te implementeren binnen een R en/of Python omgeving (Linux OS).
- Je bent comfortabel met een high performance computing omgeving.
- Een contract voor de duur van een jaar (12 maanden) met uitzicht om de aanstelling om te zetten tot een vast dienstverband.
- Inschaling in salarisschaal 11: € 4.498 tot € 6.156 bruto bij een fulltime dienstverband (afhankelijk van opleiding en ervaring).
