Supply Chain Planning Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our European Specialized Nutrition S&OP team at Danone. As a Material Planning and S&OP Intern, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability by balancing supply and demand across local markets and manufacturing sites in Europe.
You will work on Material Requirement Planning inside the Specialized Nutrition Unit, ensuring optimal availability of Raws & Packs. This role will give you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of planning in a complex environment and contribute to business by participating in processes & tools improvement projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the S&OP Material planning team with running mid to long-term planning monthly routines.
- Co-leading improvement project(s) for Material Planning, including inventory monitoring, performance tracking, and network harmonization.
- Supporting in day-to-day data materials availability management.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in Integrated Business Planning - S&OP in a complex FMCG network, Materials Requirement Planning fundamentals, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
About You
We are looking for a Master's student in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or any related field. Previous experience in Supply Chain is a plus. You should be highly motivated, like to challenge yourself, and have an eye for detail, allowing you to complete assignments quickly and accurately.
You should have an analytical mindset, an affinity for data processing and optimization, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a great interest in efficiency and automation. You should be proactive, have strong communication skills, and be able to work both independently and in a team.
