Position Overview

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for performing E/I maintenance activities within Hexion's safety, production, and financial guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to E&I systems, measurement and control systems, electrical installations, and equipment.
  • Manage, execute, and/or delegate maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
  • Work independently and in a team environment to achieve project objectives in accordance with regulations and in collaboration with various disciplines.
  • Adjust control valves in accordance with regulations for positions in our factories.
  • Evaluate the nature and scope of the fault and/or directly repair if necessary and possible, otherwise translate into a scope so that the work can be planned by the work preparer.
  • Transfer executed work to production and functional management.
  • During maintenance stops, play a cooperative but also guiding role towards E&I contractor technicians.
  • Perform commissioning during maintenance stops to ensure a safe and problem-free start-up of the factory.
  • Signalize any bottlenecks during both preventive and corrective maintenance and take action accordingly.
  • You are jointly responsible for the proper management of materials and resources to perform technical work.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A completed MBO education in the direction of electrical engineering and/or installation technology.
  • Affinity with programming and fault finding.
  • Experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • Hold a valid NEN3140 and NEN3840 certificate.
  • A positive attitude, shows initiative, and exudes responsibility and ownership for personal and professional development.
  • You are communicatively skilled.
  • You can work independently.
