Role Overview
The Engagement Principal will play a pivotal role in our Supply Chain Consulting division, focusing on software delivery and strategic problem-solving. This position encompasses:
- Supply Chain Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert during both implementation and pre-sales engagements.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with Product and Technical teams to guide product enhancements and strategic direction.
- Project Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between clients and the Aera team, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Requirements Management: Ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and met, adhering to timelines and customer expectations.
- Resource Management: Oversee project resources, monitor progress through KPIs, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct meetings and workshops with clients, from initial discovery to final presentations.
- Documentation: Accurately estimate and document project requirements for proposals and statements of work.
- Representation: Act as the face of Clear Ventures, showcasing expertise in product delivery.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in Big 4 Consulting or Strategic Software Delivery within Supply Chain Operations.
- Proven track record in leading post-sales enterprise software implementation projects.
- Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in a STEM field is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain best practices and metrics across all core areas.
- Experience with enterprise IT solutions, including ERP systems like Oracle and SAP.
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics software, particularly SAP and leading alternatives.
- Exceptional customer-facing skills, with a strong focus on communication and relationship management.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods sectors is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AI or data science is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in writing proposals and statements of work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
