We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be part of the MRD.GUIDE project, a large-scale international collaboration focused on the development of liquid biopsies for the detection of minimal residual disease (MRD) in cancer patients.

The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for the coordination and execution of experiments, data analysis, and the preparation of scientific publications. The candidate will work closely with our team of researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to advance the field of liquid biopsies and MRD detection.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field, and experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this position.

The postdoctoral researcher will be employed for a period of 3 years, with the possibility of extension. The salary will be according to the Dutch salary scale for postdoctoral researchers (schaal 10.4), approximately €4,026 per month.
