Technical Specialist Rules & Regulations

At Damen Naval, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist Rules & Regulations to join our basic engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our statutory plans comply with ship specifications, industry norms, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical teams and external entities to deliver technical solutions
  • Research, analyze, and interpret relevant norms, rules, and regulations
  • Develop statutory plans and secure class and client approval
  • Ensure accessibility of applicable norms, rules, and regulations to relevant teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Shipbuilding, Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Extensive experience with and broad knowledge of Class- and Statutory regulations
  • Proficiency with 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems such as MicroStation, Cadmatic, and/or 3DExperience (Catia)
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport
