Electrical Assembly Engineer for High-Tech Mechanical Engineering

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Assembly Engineer to work on the electrical assembly of components, sensors, and cabling in our automotive machines. This is a challenging position that requires skill and precision, as well as an eye for quality standards. You will be working in an independent position as part of a project team consisting of various disciplines, including Mechanical Engineers, PLC/Robot Programmers, and a Project Coordinator.

Your Tasks:
  • Building up projects (70%):
  • Placing projects at the customer's location (15%):
  • Commissioning & optimising machines (10%):
  • Other activities (5%):

You will start your day with a morning meeting to discuss work and challenges, followed by building machines with the project team. After a short break, you will prepare for external jobs, gathering necessary materials and preparing them for shipment. If issues arise, you will discuss them with your Lead Technician or Project Coordinator and make a ticket to follow up.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • MBO 4 qualification in electrical engineering or a similar field;
  • The ability to read E-plan drawings without any issues;
  • The capacity to resolve faults and problems quickly;
  • The willingness to travel abroad;
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in both Dutch and English (German is a plus).
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary between €28,000 and €50,000 per year, depending on your work experience, as well as a benefits package with 27 days' holiday and 13 ADV days. Additionally, you will receive a generous daily allowance for working abroad.
