We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lightning Protection Specialist to join our team at DNV. As a Project Manager for Lightning Protection Research, you will be responsible for managing and executing research cases within our Lightning Protection Safety research program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrotechnical or Physics, with expertise in Lightning Protection, electromagnetic fields, and earthing. You will be responsible for designing and executing safe and valid measurements and tests needed for the determination of electromagnetic fields.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and executing research cases within the Lightning Protection Safety research program
  • Designing and executing safe and valid measurements and tests needed for the determination of electromagnetic fields
  • Contributing to clear and high-quality customer interactions, presentations, and reports
  • Leading DNV colleagues and working together with contractors and partners
  • Building and maintaining a network within the Defence and Security sector
