We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our Development and Engineering sector, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, detailed design, and technical product documentation of Flow and Thermal sub-modules.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Select appropriate components, materials, and manufacturing techniques to optimize design performance, cost, and integration in the system.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop new concepts and steer design choice.
- Optimize design to meet all requirements.
- Create detailed design using Siemens NX software and create required documents for industrialization.
- Implement Engineering Changes using Siemens Team Center.
- Solve issues and propose solutions.
- Contact suppliers for design and drawing reviews on manufacturability.
- Validate designs and execute tests to verify specifications.
- Technical University Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design development, including requirement definition, concept and detailed design, proto ordering, design qualification, and validation.
- Experience in designing sub-modules into a Flow and Thermal design, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings, Bill of Material.
- Excellent knowledge in manufacturability of mechanical parts.
- CAD 3D modeling and drawings (preferable UG/NX).
- Experience with ASML design Way of Working and processes is preferred.
