About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Static Equipment Engineer to join our Asset Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global diversified chemicals company and contribute to the development of our static equipment integrity strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective equipment strategies to monitor static asset performance and predict potential failures.
  • Investigate and analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Inspection department and Operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of international codes and standards related to static equipment, including corrosion and metallurgy.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams to ensure effective implementation of static equipment integrity strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability, maintenance, and/or engineering in oil and gas, petrochemical, and/or energy production industry.
  • Strong knowledge of integrity analysis tools and methodologies for static equipment.
  • Knowledge of welding, material, corrosion, and damage mechanism in petrochemical industries.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
