Service Engineer Horticulture Expert

As a Service Engineer at Hoogendoorn, you will be responsible for training and supporting our partners and customers worldwide in the installation, preparation, and commissioning of our systems. This can be done remotely or by traveling to the customer. You will be part of the service desk and be on standby duty every 6 to 8 weeks. Your expertise will enable our customers to grow their flowers or food without worries.
Key Responsibilities- Support partners, customers, and sales colleagues in the engineering of automation projects;
- Commission systems with our partners worldwide, approximately 5 times a year, and provide user instruction;
- Perform software updates within the Benelux region;
- Gather customer wishes and ideas, and actively contribute to the further development and expansion of our products.

Our partner network spans every continent, and our trained specialists provide expert product advice, training, and service to all customers.
What We Offer- A salary between €2600 and €5839 per month based on a full-time workweek;
- You will work in a close-knit team where everyone is seen and heard;
- A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer driven;

- Holiday pay of 8% of your gross annual salary;
- 25 vacation days for a full-time position (40 hours);

- A good pension scheme, of which we pay 50% of the premium for you.
- You have experience or affinity with the installation of all technical installations and automation within greenhouse horticulture;
- You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of work or thinking, preferably with a diploma in Measurement and Control Technology, Mechatronics, Automation (electro)technology, or similar. If you have a vocational (MBO) level 4 diploma in a similar field, we'd also like to hear from you;
- You are proficient in both French and English, both spoken and written;
- You are analytical, communicative, solution-oriented, result-oriented, stress-resistant, and, of course, customer-oriented.
